💬 General
What is AI Learn?
AI Learn is a beginner-friendly educational platform dedicated to making artificial intelligence, machine learning, and automation accessible to everyone. Founded in Tokyo in 2023, we provide free tutorials, learning paths, tool reviews, and a supportive community for people at all levels — especially those just starting their AI journey.
Is AI Learn completely free?
The majority of AI Learn's content is 100% free, including all beginner tutorials, AI Basics, the Glossary, Use Cases, Tool Reviews, and Blog articles. We plan to introduce optional premium features in late 2026, but core educational content will always remain free.
Who is AI Learn designed for?
AI Learn is designed primarily for complete beginners — people who are curious about AI but have no technical background. We also serve intermediate learners who want to deepen their understanding. If you can use a smartphone and browse the internet, you can learn with AI Learn.
Do I need prior coding experience?
Absolutely not! Many of our resources and tutorials require zero coding knowledge. We start from the very basics. For learners who want to go deeper into technical topics, we do offer coding tutorials, but these are clearly marked as optional and intermediate-level.
What languages is your content available in?
Currently, all content is available in English. We are actively working on Japanese, Spanish, and Mandarin versions, expected to launch in Q3 and Q4 of 2026.
How often is new content published?
We publish new content every week — typically 2–3 new tutorials or blog posts. Our newsletter subscribers are notified every Tuesday with the week's fresh content.
📚 Learning
How long does it take to learn AI?
It depends on your goal and chosen learning path. Our Beginner Path takes approximately 6 weeks at 30–45 minutes per day. The Intermediate Path takes 10 weeks, and our Advanced Path takes 16 weeks. The great news is that you'll understand core AI concepts within just 1–2 weeks of consistent learning.
What is the best starting point for a complete beginner?
We recommend starting with our AI Basics page, which gives you a solid conceptual foundation. From there, enroll in the Beginner Learning Path or take our Quiz to find out which path suits you best.
Can I learn AI without a math background?
Yes! Conceptual understanding of AI does not require advanced mathematics. We focus on intuitive explanations and real-world analogies. If you eventually want to build AI models yourself, some basic statistics will help — but we guide you through that step by step.
How do I track my learning progress?
Currently, progress tracking is available through our learning paths pages. A personalized user dashboard with full progress tracking is in development and expected to launch in mid-2026.
Will I receive a certificate after completing a path?
Completion certificates are currently in development. We plan to roll out verifiable digital certificates for all completed learning paths in Q3 2026.
Can I learn at my own pace?
Absolutely. All content on AI Learn is self-paced. There are no deadlines, no live sessions to attend, and no penalties for taking breaks. Learn whenever and wherever works for you.
⚙️ Technical
Do I need a powerful computer to learn AI?
For most of our content, you just need a standard computer or even a tablet. Most AI tools we recommend are cloud-based (no installation needed). For hands-on coding tutorials, we point you to free cloud platforms like Google Colab.
Which AI tools do you recommend for absolute beginners?
We recommend starting with: ChatGPT (text and conversation), DALL-E 3 (image creation), Zapier AI (automation), and Notion AI (productivity). All have free tiers and intuitive interfaces perfect for beginners. Visit our Tool Reviews page for detailed breakdowns.
Is Python programming required?
Python is required only for advanced, technical tutorials. For beginner and most intermediate content, no programming is needed. We clearly label which tutorials require coding.
What is the difference between AI and Machine Learning?
Artificial Intelligence is the broad concept of machines performing tasks that normally require human intelligence. Machine Learning is a subset of AI — it's the specific approach where machines learn from data to improve. Think of it this way: all Machine Learning is AI, but not all AI is Machine Learning. See our Glossary for more detailed definitions.
How does the quiz system work?
Our quizzes are multiple-choice, browser-based, and completely free. After completing a quiz, you'll see your score, correct answers with explanations, and recommendations for what to study next based on your results.
🎓 Courses
Are all tutorials completely free?
Yes! All current tutorials are 100% free. We may introduce optional premium, in-depth course series in the future, but all existing free tutorials will remain free permanently.
How long are the tutorials?
Tutorials range from 15 minutes (quick concept explainers) to 60 minutes (hands-on project tutorials). Each tutorial clearly displays its estimated completion time so you can plan your session.
Can I download tutorial content for offline use?
Currently, offline downloads are not supported for video or interactive content. However, all text-based tutorials can be printed or saved as PDF from your browser. Newsletter issues are available as downloadable PDFs.
How can I request a new tutorial topic?
We love hearing from our community! Use our Contact page to submit tutorial requests. Popular requests are prioritized for our monthly content calendar.
Do you offer one-on-one coaching or mentorship?
We currently don't offer 1-on-1 coaching, but our Community has study groups and peer learning opportunities. Individual mentorship is something we're exploring for a premium tier in 2026.
💳 Account & Billing
Do I need to create an account to use AI Learn?
No account is needed to browse tutorials, read articles, or use most features. Creating a free account (coming in mid-2026) will allow you to track progress, save favourites, and access community features.
Will there ever be a paid tier?
We plan to introduce an optional paid tier in late 2026 with features like personalized learning paths, certificates, and advanced project support. All current free content will remain free indefinitely.
